[NEWS] The Vibe Label Representatives: "Kim Taedong asked for termination of contract after cutting contact"

The Vibe Label has revealed their position on 'Produce 101' trainee Kim Taedong.
(According to TVL) Kim Taedong has requested a termination of his (artist) contract and sent in proof of content. The viewers grouped trainees who have unfortunately been eliminated into an imaginary project group called 'JBJ' which has come to life. After Kim Taedong sent in the proof of content to the company, he revealed his thoughts and current whereabouts on SNS (see post 1, post 2)
Regarding this issue, TVL has released their official statement today, on the 1st of August and apologized for bringing such a shameful issue with Taedong, who is receiving lots of, to the fans who are worrying. TVL stated, "We are going to (not really) only reveal the truth about this issue, as lies can seriously ruin the the entertainment industry (seriously?)".
TVL Official statement: "After Produce 101 Season 2 was broadcasted, Kim Taedong gained lots of popularity and contacted us saying that he will be carpooling with another trainee instead of using the provided car without our approval. Taedong has also not participated in any of the schedules or meetings that we planned and had no intention of conversing with us and merely asked for termination of his (artist) contract. On the 30th of June, we met Taedong and we told him, 'We will do whatever you want, so tell us what you want to do, regarding the termination of your contract, let's talk again after the Produce 101 concert.' and we accepted Taedong's opinion (of wanting to terminate the contract) and worked hard to work around this (which is funny because on the 27th, they released 82 biased articles against Taedong but not a single one said anything about contract termination, just the same old 'proof of content'. ) But after the concert, Taedong secretly changed his phone and cut contact with us and only sent us the proof of contact to terminate his contract. (Out of the 82 biased articles released, TVL said themselves that the news of Taedong cutting contact was false. Did they forget?) At the status of Taedong not accepting our calls, we belatedly confirmed that he had a meeting with another company, which is against his current contract. At the time of the meeting, Taedong told the other company that he did not have a contract with a company, which makes no sense and tarnished the company's name. (????? Is that really in the official statement??????) We wanted to keep the promise with the fans and at least let Taedong's promotion with JBJ happen and continued to contact FAVE Ent, who is in charge of JBJ promotions. (In this article, it was said that Loen (Fave) has been contacting Taedong personally about JBJ because TVL weren't do anything about it????) The head management and CEO of FAVE Ent went to meet Taedong in his hometown, Yeoju, and attempted to talk with him but his parents said, "We have nothing to say. We do not want to talk with you (TVL). They only wanted his contract terminated." When we faced the situation of all contact with Taedong being cut, we sent a response to the proof of content through (a famous, powerful law firm) and in that response, we did not include any threatening or of those likes, but only future promotion plans and ways we can resolve this issue. If this is to be brought up again (by Taedong on IG) we will reveal the entire document regarding this exchange (but did you just threaten him...). We sincerely pity Kim Taedong's one-sided actions once again, and we hope to meet him to resolve these issues so he can return to the fans that are supporting 'JBJ'."

1. TVL had a phone call with a fan saying they had no expectations of Taedong on Produce 101, and that interviews or photoshoots won't help him. 2. TVL said themselves in that phone call that they don't want to debut Taedong with JBJ, and said he is talking to Loen himself, and Taedong said he wants to debut with JBJ but we don't know why the company is constantly mediaplaying they want him to come back to them to debut with JBJ. 3. Before and during the beginning of Produce 101, aka when Taedong wasn't popular, there are multiple fanaccounts of Taedong seen walking or using public transportation. 4. We still don't understand why they dropped a popular trainee at a Taxi Station in the middle of the night.

- Basically, TVL is media playing to victimize themselves and make Taedong seem like the one that's doing everything wrong.
